Della's is an upcoming neighborhood wine bar by the team at Frankly Wines!
We are aiming to open in a space just down the block from our shop this summer, but we need the help of our loyal clients, friends and family in order to make this a reality.
This last year battered the hospitality industry in TriBeCa—we want to bring Della’s to the neighborhood so we may have a place to reconnect over delicious glasses of wine and comforting small plates, all the while surrounded by friends old and new.
We are reaching out to our community to help us get the doors open—please consider visiting our Kickstarter campaign at the link below to hear all about it!
The faster we raise funds, the sooner you'll be hanging on that patio with a delicious glass in hand :)
Your support and contributions will enable us to build a large outdoor dining space, capable of welcoming guests year round.
Donations will also go towards refrigerators and other kitchen equipment, plus opening inventory!
We can't thank you enough for supporting us!
The space is small, so we figure keep the beverage program exciting with a constant rotation of interesting wines by the glass! Additional educational formats and outdoor group tastings will be announced in coming months, so follow us on social media!
The mastermind behind this playful program is Liz Nicholson of Frankly Wines, and formerly Maialino, Marea, and 'inoteca. She was particularly known for her by the glass program at Maialino, which received rave reviews.
She can't wait to dust off her corkscrew, pop a bottle and pour you a glass!
*Friendly Corkage policy!
Named after my Italian Grandmother, Della Covone, the menu will be simple plates with nods to the traditional family dishes of my childhood and the many food experiences in my travels throughout Italy.
We are thrilled to have Jen Scher, formerly of Caselulla, bringing great passion to our cheese program in particular, but also to the overall success of Della's.
As one of the only shops that has kept its doors open to the community throughout the pandemic, we are well aware of all the "For Rent" signs up in the neighborhood. We also recognize that as we all get vaccinated there is a yearning to come together with friends and family that have been absent in this last year.
We want to open Della's so you have a place to reunite or perhaps an exciting destination in lower Manhattan!
